Billing & Refund Policy
The following Billing & Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to all users and describes how your payments are made to Julie Tant (“we”, “us” or “our”) in connection with our services (“Services”).
By using our Services, you are accepting the terms, conditions, and policies described in this Policy, as may be amended from time to time. Each time you use our Services, you agree and expressly consent to the following.
Billing
All payments made by you to Julie Tant are subject to our Terms & Conditions.
Foreign Currency
If you pay with foreign currency, you agree that the amount you are eventually credited may vary as a result of foreign currency conversion policies of our third-party payment processors, which you can find at the relevant website or location where you make the actual purchase.
Third-Party Payment Processors
We use the services of third parties to process your payments, and we require that these third parties take appropriate organisational and technical measures to protect your personal data and to comply with relevant laws. Please review the terms of use and privacy policies of those third parties before providing your banking or payment information.
Payment Through Third-Party Services
You agree to abide by any relevant Terms & Conditions or other legal agreement that governs your use of a given payment processing service and/or method. You also acknowledge that a bank or credit card company may refuse or cancel a transaction and freeze funds for up to 14 business days as per their policy. You agree to the sharing of information between us and such third-party payment processor for billing-related activity.
Fees and Taxes
You are solely responsible for all carrier data plans, internet fees, and other fees and taxes associated with your access to and use of our Services.
Using the website or mobile applications may use data from your mobile network plan. Out-of-country usage may result in higher charges, and you are solely responsible for paying any roaming or other applicable fees charged by your mobile network operator.
We may refuse or cancel a transaction at any time, at our sole discretion, if we believe it violates our Terms & Conditions or this Billing & Refund Policy, or to prevent financial loss. In cases of fraud or illegal activity, we may cancel or block your credit balance.
Cancellation and Refund
Cancellations for the Leading a Guided Life Course, Acupuncture appointments, and One-to-One Coaching services shall only be accepted if a 48-hour notice is given prior to the session or course start.
Purchases for online courses shall be final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law.
If you use third-party services to purchase any of our Services, such purchase is subject to the refund terms of the applicable third party (including with respect to payment terms, refunds, etc.). Note that all refunds will include subsequent deductions of any third-party charges.
We reserve the right to refuse a refund request if we reasonably believe or suspect that:
(i) you are trying to unfairly exploit this refund policy, for example by making repetitive refund requests for the same service or feature, or by trying to receive a refund for a non-refundable credit (such as a reward);
(ii) you are in breach of this Policy, our Terms & Conditions, or the Privacy Policy;
(iii) you are using any of our Services fraudulently, or your account is being used fraudulently by a third party; or
(iv) you purchased your service or credit through a third-party platform and their terms do not allow refunds.
This refund policy does not affect any of your statutory rights.
For all refund requests, please email julie@traditionalacupuncture.co.uk with your full name, contact number, and reason for requesting a refund. Your query will be dealt with at the earliest opportunity, and you may be asked to provide additional details to process your refund.
Billing Disputes
Any billing disputes raised by you will be settled in accordance with our Terms & Conditions. A pending billing dispute does not exempt you from timely paying any undisputed amounts that you owe.
Sharing Information
We may, if required, share payment and personal data with third parties in order to prevent financial loss or fraud, or to comply with legal obligations.
Legal
The general legal terms appearing in our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy also apply to this Policy.
In the event you read this Policy in any language other than English, you agree that the English version shall prevail.
